Accessibility Policy
Hopper Buick GMC
October /2026
Our commitment
Hopper Buick GMC is committed to providing accessible goods, services, and facilities to people with disabilities in a manner that respects dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity.
We are committed to identifying, preventing, and removing barriers and meeting our applicable obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Communication and accessible information
We will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take their accessibility needs into account.
Upon request, we will provide or arrange accessible formats and communication supports in a timely manner and at no additional cost. We will consult with the person making the request to determine a suitable format or support.
This policy is also available in an accessible format upon request.
Assistive devices
People with disabilities are welcome to use their personal assistive devices when accessing our goods, services, and facilities. If a device presents a significant and unavoidable health or safety concern, or another barrier exists, we will work with the individual to identify an appropriate alternative.
Service animals and support persons
We welcome people with disabilities and their service animals in areas of our premises open to the public, unless the animal is excluded by law. If a service animal is excluded by law, we will work with the person to provide another way to access our goods and services.
People with disabilities may be accompanied by a support person and will have access to that person while on our premises.
Temporary disruptions
If facilities or services that people with disabilities rely on are temporarily unavailable, we will provide notice as soon as possible.
The notice will explain the reason for the disruption, its anticipated duration, and any available alternatives. Notices will be posted in appropriate locations and, where appropriate, on our website.
Training
We will provide accessibility training to employees, volunteers, people who develop our policies, and others who provide goods, services, or facilities on our behalf, as appropriate to their duties.
Training will cover applicable accessibility standards, the Ontario Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities, and accessible customer service. This includes communicating with people with different disabilities, assisting people who use assistive devices, service animals, or support persons, using available accessibility equipment, and responding when someone has difficulty accessing our services.
Training will be provided as soon as practicable and when relevant policies change.

Hopper Buick GMC is committed to improving the accessibility and usability of our website.
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of our website, please contact us using the information below. We will work with you to provide the information or service in an accessible way and address reported barriers.
